Join the studio
Build companies, not tickets.
A small senior team that ships products people pay for. You will work across the studio's ventures and client engagements — no pyramid, no bench, no two-year projects that never launch.

Working here
What is actually different.
Everyone here does the work. There is no layer of people who only manage the people who do the work — the studio is too small for that and the ventures would not survive it.
About the studioEveryone ships
No management layer that exists only to manage. Seniority means more ownership, not less code.
Ventures, not tickets
You work on companies that either succeed or do not. The feedback loop is a market, not a sprint review.
Distributed by default
Lagos, Nairobi, London, and remote. Written communication is the norm, not the exception.
Equity where it counts
Venture roles carry equity in that company. Studio roles carry a stake in the portfolio.
Time to go deep
A budget and the calendar space for certifications, conferences, and the occasional rabbit hole.
Sustainable pace
Launches are intense. The eleven months around them are not, and we plan for that deliberately.
Open roles
Where we need people.
Roles sit either in the studio bench or inside a specific venture. Both are permanent; the venture roles come with equity in that company.
Hiring process
Four steps, two weeks.
No take-home that eats your weekend, no panel of eight. You will meet the people you would actually work with, and we will tell you either way.
The paid exercise is a real problem from a real engagement, scoped to about three hours. We pay for your time whether or not we make an offer.
Intro call
Thirty minutes with the person who would work alongside you.
Technical conversation
A real problem discussed out loud — no whiteboard algorithms.
Paid exercise
Around three hours on an actual problem from a live engagement.
Offer or a straight no
A decision within two working days, with reasons either way.
Internships
Six months inside a real venture build.
Not a shadowing programme. Interns join a venture team with a named mentor, own a real surface, and ship to production — the same review standards as everyone else.
Paid, six months, two intakes a year. Roughly half convert to a permanent role; the rest leave with production code in their name and a reference from the person who reviewed it.
We take a small cohort — four to six per intake — because mentorship at this depth does not scale. No prior internship or degree requirement; we look at what you have built.

Engineering
Own a product surface end to end — web, mobile, or platform — reviewed to the same standard as the rest of the team.
Applied AI
Work on the agent tooling and evaluation harnesses behind the studio's AI-native products.
Product design
Flows, interfaces, and design-system work for products built mobile-first for emerging markets.
Next intake opens January 2027
Applications reviewed on a rolling basis until the cohort fills.
Apply
Tell us what you have built.
A link to something real beats a CV. Speculative applications are genuinely read — two of the current team joined that way.

If you are an operator with a market you understand better than anyone, the studio route is a partnership rather than a job.
